Minapa Garelu

Ingredients:

  1. Urad Dal:2 Cups
  2. Chopped Onions:1
  3.  Chopped Green Chilli:3
  4. Chopped Curry Leaves
  5. Chopped Coriender Leaves
  6. Cumin Seeds
  7. Ginger Chopped
  8. Salt
  9. Oil
Preparation Process:
  • Take the 2 cups of Urad dal in a vessel,Clean it with water and soak it for 3 to 4 hours.
  • After 3 to 4 hours ,separate the urad dal from water and grind the urad dal.(preferably don't add water while grinding)
  • Take the grinded urad dal in a vessel add cumin seeds,chopped onion,green chilli,ginger,curry leaves,coriander leaves to it and mix it well.add sufficient salt to it as per your taste.
  • Now take a pan ,put it on a medium flame,after the pan is heated add oil in it ,sufficient to deep fry the Minapa garelu
  • wet your left hand palm and take small amount of above mixture in your left palm using right hand ,make hole in the middle same like vada.
  • Now carefully lift that vada from your hand and fry it in the heated oil,until it turns to light brown color on both sides.
  • Keep on following the same procedure until finishing of urad dal mixture
  • That's all Minapa garelu is ready to eat.
                                              


Punugulu

Ingredients:
  1.     Urad Dal:1 Cup
  2.     Rice :
  3.     Red Chilli Powder
  4.     Onion Chopped
  5.     Salt
  6.     Oil

Preparation Process:

  •     Take the rice and urad dal in a vessel,Clean them with water and soak them for 1 to2 hours.
  •     After the they soaked for 2 hrs ,Grind them by adding sufficient water .
  •     Add salt, red chilli powder in it and stir them well
  •     Take  a pan and heat it on medium flame,then add suffient oil to fry the punukulu.
  •     Let oil be heat.
  •     After oil heated,Take batter in hand and leave small small amount of batter in oil carefully.
  •     Fry them till they become light brown color,Then take them in a tissue paper ,to observe  excess amount of oil.
  •     Serve them hot. 
 
                                    

Egg Dosa

Ingredients:

  1. Rice
  2. Urad Dal
  3. Eggs(Take 1 egg for 1 dosa)
  4. Salt
  5. Oil
  6. Red Chilli Powder/Curry Leaves Powder/Spice powder
  7. Chopped Onions
  8. Chopped Coriender Leaves
  9. Water

Preparation Process:

  • Take 2 cups of rice and 1 cup of urad dal,Clean them properly with water and soak them for 5 to 6 hours.
  • Now Mix the Rice and urad dal  by adding suffiecint water,and make a fine batter (dosa consistency).
  • Let batter be ferment for over night..
  • In The morning add salt to the batter.
  • Now take a dosa tawa/pan heat it on medium flame,then slow down the flame and pour laddle full of batter on it and spread it over the pan in a circular motion.
  • After few seconds,break one egg on the dosa and spread it over the dosa.
  • Add 1/2 tbsp of oil on the the dosa for better taste.
  • After the egg is fried pefectly ,sprinkle chilli powder/curry leave or any other spice powder on dosa,and add chopped onions,coriender leaves on it.
  • Then flip the dosa carefully.
  • Thats all your egg dosa is ready to eat.repeat the same process for remaining batter.
  • You can  eat it wihout any chutney.


Note:You can use left over batter of dosa to make this wonderful egg dosa.

Gunta Ponganalu/paniyaram

Ingredients:
  1. Rice:2 Cup
  2. Urad dal:1/2 Cup
  3. Chana Dal: 1/4 Cup
  4. Green Gram:1/4 Cup
  5. Onions:2 Chopped
  6. Green Chilli:5 to 8
  7. Ginger
  8. Cumin Seeds:1 tbsp
  9. Coarinder leaves
  10. Curry Leaves
  11. Salt

Preparation Process:

  • Take a big vessel,add rice,urad dal,chana dal,green gram in sufficient quantity.
  • Clean them with water,and soak them for 6 hours.
  • After the 6 hours,mix them by adding required amount of water.
  • Make batter same like dosa batter.
  • let it ferment for over night.
  • In the morning add chopped onions,salt,coarsely blended green chilli,ginger paste,cumin seeds,finely chopped coriender,curry leaves to it and mix it well.
  • Now take the pan of ponganalu/paniyaram pan.
  • Heat it on medium flame,then slow down the flame,add little bit oil in that holes of pan,then pour batter in that holes of pan,keep a lid on the pan,let it for 3 to 5 minutes(cook in low flame)
  • After you feel like it well cooked 1 side,Gently lift them with spoon/ fork, and let them cooking for 2nd side.(The ponganalu will come easily when your lifting,if they cooked perfectly)
  • After it cooked well on the 2nd side take them into a bowl,and repeat the same steps for the remaining batter.
  • It will taste good with peanut chutney.




Note:You can use left over dosa batter to make This ponganalu,Beacause the process of preparing batter for both is same.

Rava Ladoo

Ingredients:

  1. Bombay Rava-1 cup
  2. Sugar-1 Cup
  3. Cocnut powder-1 Cup
  4. Ghee
  5. Dry Fruits
  6. Cardamom Powder

Preparation Process:

  • Mix the Sugar and Keep it Aside
  • Cut The Dry Fruits as tiny Pieces and fry them in ghee,keep it aside
  • Take A bowl,Put it in Low flame,add some ghee in the bowl ,fry the rava in that.
  • After the rava fried,Similarly add coconut powder  and fry it,off the flame
  • Now mix Rava,Coconut,Sugar in a big bowl.
  • Also add fried dry fruits to that,and mix it well
  • Now make that mixure as ladoo's.
  • if that mixure is very dried and unable to make ladoo,You can also add milk to the content.
  • After finish making ladoo with that mixure,Keep that ladoos in a plate and let it dry for sometime,So that it can preserve for 3 to 5 days.





Jilebi

Ingredients:


  1. Curd
  2. Maida/All purpose flour-100grams
  3. Corn Flour-30grams
  4. Food color
  5. Sugar
  6. Water
  7. oil

Preparation Process:
  • Take 100 grams of all purpose flour in a bowl,add 30 gram of corn flour to it.Add 1 and half tbsp of hot oil.
  • Add Required amount of curd to it,to make a soft batter.
  • Add Food Color to it.
  • Stir it well,Let it ferment for 24hours.
  • After the 24 hours mix the content well.
  • Now take another bowl on medium flame add little bit water in it,now add sugar to it,stir well add few drops of lemon juice to it.
  • Take a thick Cover pour the mixture to it,Make a hole at the bottom to  pour jalebi in oil.
  • Take a pan ,heat the oil on medium flame 
  • By using that Hole at the bottom of cover,pour Mixture in that pan,like round shape or any shape you want.
  • after the jilebi is nicely fried,then take out that jilebi from oil and put it in sugar syrup for 1 to 2 minutes,then take out and serve.




Mysore Bonda

Ingredients:
  1. Maida/All Purpose Flour-1 Cup
  2. Rice Flour-1/4 Cup
  3. Salt
  4. Cooking Soda:1/2 Tbsp
  5. Curd
  6. Cumin Seeds
  7. Chopped Gingers
  8. Chopped Green Chili
  9. Chopped Onions
  10. Oil


Preparation Process:


  • Take the required amount of rice flour,all purpose floor in a bowl,add salt,cooking soda to it,mix well.
  • Now add cumin seeds,finely chopped garlic,green chili,Onions to it.
  • Now add sufficient amount of curd to it,to make dough.
  • Keep it aside for 1 hour.
  • Now take pan to fry this Bonda's.
  • add oil in that pan,let oil be heat on medium flame.
  • Now wet your hands with oil,water ,take a normal size dough ,add it to heated oil.
  • flame should be low,so that it will cooked inside perfectly.
  • Cook the bonda's until it become medium brown color.
