Alasandalu Masala Curry / Black Eyed Peas Curry

Ingredients :

  1. Alasandalu / Black Eyed Peas  : 1 Cup
  2. Tomato : 2-3
  3. Green Chillis : 2-3
  4. Onion : 1
  5. Turmeric Powder : 1/2 Tbsp
  6. Red Chilli Powder : 1 1/2 Tbsp
  7. Ginger Garlic Paste :1 Tbsp
  8. Coriander Powder : 1 tbsp
  9. Masals Powder :1/2 Tbsp
  10. Cumin Powder : 1/2 Tbsp
  11. Curry Leaves : 2 Sprigs
  12. Coriander Leaves : 2 Sprigs


Preparation Process:

  • Clean the alasandalu and soak it for 3-4 hours.
  • After the 3 hours clean them one more time with water and take them in a pressure cooker with sufficient water.Cook it till 2-3 whistles.
  • Now take 1 more pan over slow flame,add oil ,add cumin,mustard seeds.Let them Splutter.
  • Now add Chopped Green Chilli's,onions,curry leaves.Fry them till onions become golden brown.
  • Chop tomatoes and Blend them in grinder and make it as smooth puree.
  • Add turmeric,Ginger garlic,Red Chilli powder one after another and mix well.
  • Aft a while add Tomoto puree,salt to it.Stir well.keep the lid on it.
  • Once the oil flotting slightly on the top add alasandalu with water.Stir well.Cook it for 5 mins.
  • Now add Masala Powder,Cumin Powder,Coriander Powder.Stir well.
  • Cook till oil Slightly floats on the top ,then add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
  • That's all Alasandalu Masala Curry / Black Eyed Peas Curry is ready.It taste goor for roti.




Ridge Gourd Egg Fry

Ingredients :

  1. Ridge Gourd : 2
  2. Eggs : 2
  3. Green Chills : 7-10
  4. Turmeric :1/4 Tbsp
  5. Cumin,Mustard Seed :1/2 Tbsp
  6. Garam Masala Powder : 1/4 Tbsp
  7. Coconut Powder : 1/2 Tbsp
  8. Oil : Sufficient
  9. Salt : As Per Taste


Preparation Process :

  • Peel the Ridge Gourd and clean it,then chop it into small pieces.
  • Put a pan on the stove over medium flame add oil,after oil heated add cumin,mustard seeds.Let them Splutter
  • Now add chopped Green Chillis,Fry them.
  • After the chillies are fried add chopped ridge gourd pieces,salt Stir well.Let it cook until the ridge gourd becomes 3/4th cooked
  • Now add eggs to it.Keep a lid.Aft 2-3 mins Stir the content well.
  • Cook for till the eggs fried well Finally add Garam Masala,Coconut Powder,Coriander Leaves.Mix Well.
  • That's all Ridge Gourd Egg Fry is ready.It will taste good for Roti/ Chapathi.
